    Work with Judy

Over the past two years, the number of people struggling with anxiety has increased dramatically and many people are having a hard time finding effective resources and support.

Since 2012, I have worked with hundreds of patients and clients with anxiety and seen first-hand the toll it can take on our mental, emotional, and physical well-being. Emotional reactivity. Anger and irritability.  Perfectionism. Self-judgment and self-criticism. Imposter syndrome. Rigid thinking. Panic attacks. High blood pressure, digestive issues like IBS, bloating and nausea. All of these can be related to or exacerbated by anxiety.

"Want to be happy? Stop trying to be perfect."
    ~ Brené Brown

If you struggle with anxiety, it is not because you have some deep and fatal flaw. Truly. It is often because you haven’t yet learned the right techniques – or used them in the right ways – to interrupt and rewire your deeply ingrained anxiety responses and patterns of emotional reactivity.

These tools and skills can go a long way to helping you regain control of your nervous systems, quiet the self-judgment and self-criticism that often accompany anxiety, and improve your physical health and well-being.  And they can help you take anxiety out of the realm of “there’s something wrong with me” and into the realm of “this is something I can get my hands on the controls of.” They are not, however, a substitute for appropriate medical and/or mental health care if it is indicated.

This heart-centered, brain-focused approach can also help you to connect with who you are at your core and to bring your big-hearted, authentic self to life.  The result? Less emotional reactivity. Better health. Greater connection with others. And a life with more authenticity, peace, and joy.
