• Stop Trying to Think Your Way Out of Anxiety

For the past 10 years I have worked with hundreds of adults and teens, helping them to understand how their brains and nervous systems work and to learn practical, reliable skills to interrupt and repattern their anxiety response.

Time and again I have seen the profound changes that occur when the clients and patients I work with learn to manage their nervous systems and regulate their emotions. They feel more empowered. They feel calmer more of the time and get triggered less often. Relationships improve. And the thing I hear most often? That they feel relieved and finally have hope that things can really change, something many of them did not even think was possible.

If you struggle with anxiety, this might sound too good to be true. But that is because few of us have been taught how our brain and nervous systems work or how to use the right tools, in the right way, to create lasting change. The truth is, it doesn’t have to be that complicated. Interrupting and repatterning the anxiety response is a skill you can learn and a habit you can develop.
